Lowell House Addiction Treatment and Recovery (LHATR) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Like many human service organizations, LHATR is asked to provide service and support well beyond the range of state, federal, and insurance funding. Your generosity and the generosity of hundreds of individuals, businesses, and foundations allow us to continue our work, never refusing to help individuals and their family members in need. 

Federal, state, and local funds only supply a portion of the funds needed to reach out to the community and prevent addictions from taking hold of people's lives. When it does, we need to have the funds to help people rebuild their lives, support their families, and become productive members of the community, We offer several ways to donate and join LHATR in strengthening our community:

  • A recurring gift to LHATR, monthly, quarterly, or yearly, is a good way to assure that your thoughtful investment makes a long-term impact on programs and services. Pledges and contributions allow us to manage our budget and plan more effectively, thus assuring that your dollars make a maximum impact. The gift is easy to set up and is automatically charged to your credit card or checking account or can be billed on regular intervals.   • A tribute or memorial gift is a particularly meaningful way to honor or remember family, friends, and colleagues. Choose to acknowledge your gift with an eCard or have Lowell House prepare an acknowledgment card that will be promptly delivered to you or to the recipient you request.

  • Many companies will match your gift and double the power of your investment. Please contact your human resources department for details and procedures.

  • Our partnerships with corporate partners raise significant funds for programs and services. If you know of a program in your company, please let us know and we'll take it from there.
